The JourneyMate Support Program™

A Focused Approach to Treatment Support

No matter where someone is at in their ALS journey—from diagnosis to treatment—the JourneyMate Support Program™ gives them the understanding, answers and resources to help them move forward. Experienced program team members are trained to address their educational needs and provide them with personalized answers and resources for living with challenging diseases. This program is here to supplement the resources that their doctor provides.

The JourneyMate Support Program™ offers educational support and resources for patients who are considering or have already been prescribed a Tanabe Pharma America, Inc. (TPA) product. A Clinical Educator is an educational resource for patients who have been prescribed an TPA product. A Clinical Educator is provided by TPA and VMS and is not affiliated with or provided by a doctor. A Clinical Educator does not provide medical advice. The program does not provide medical advice and does not take the place of a patient’s doctor. All questions about a condition, diagnosis, or treatment should be referred to the patient’s doctor. If a patient has a medical emergency, they should call 911. Adverse events or product complaints should be reported by calling 1-888-292-0058.

THE SHARE YOUR STORY PROGRAM
Learning From Others May Make a World of Difference

The Share Your Story program was designed by TPA to help people living with rare, progressive, neurological conditions and their caregivers share experiences of diagnosis and treatment. People can participate in the program by making a video, writing an article or creating social content. When they share their experiences, it may help others on the same journey feel like they’re part of a larger group of support and understanding.

Parkinson’s Disease Newsletter

A New Way to Stay Connected: Introducing The Parkinson’s Perspective

The Parkinson’s Perspective newsletter was created by MTPA to spotlight the voices, stories and progress shaping the Parkinson’s disease (PD) community. The publication features expert insights, inspiring patient journeys, advocacy highlights and awareness initiatives.

In our inaugural issue, readers will meet Dr. Gregg Busch, a PD advocate whose life and legacy reflect resilience and purpose. The issue also tackles common myths with help from movement disorder specialist Dr. Aaron Ellenbogen and showcases powerful community-driven work from advocacy groups across the country.

By elevating these stories, we aim to foster connection, provide education and support those navigating life with PD.
